Alert readers will recognize a version of this recipe from "Steel Magnolias" -- "cup-a-cup-a-cup"... and yes, this freezes beautifully.
- 1 can fruit cocktail (2 cups)
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoons soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Mix all together, pour into a greased 13x9 baking pan.
Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown.
Serve with vanilla ice cream or top with a simple powdered sugar glaze.
