It should come as no surprise that McSame's supporters lie, dissemble and distort -- after all, that's the Rove playbook that the "straight shooter" is playing.
But it's got to hurt when one of the major supporting "facts" about Obama and his visits with the troops -- one email from one Capt. Jeffrey S. Porter of Bagram Airbase, a Utah Army National Guard member assigned to the 142nd Military Intelligence Battalion -- not only gets labeled "factually incorrect" by the U.S. Army:
What will the 101st Squadron of Keyboard Commandos say about this?
Probably not much -- but be assured they will continue to replay the original and factually incorrect email, again and again.

"These comments are inappropriate and factually incorrect," Bagram spokeswoman Lt. Col. Rumi Nielson-Green told the New York Daily News. She said Obama neither played basketball nor visited the recreation facility at Bagram, but did shake hands, speak and pose for photographs with troops. But then Captain had to back-track himself on the Army Times:
Army Times e-mailed Porter to verify his authorship and request an interview but the newspaper said Porter replied by asking that the e-mail be deleted because "after checking my sources some of the information that was put out in my e-mail was wrong."
“I am writing this to ask that you delete my e-mail and not forward it, after checking my sources some of the information that was put out in my e-mail was wrong. This e-mail was meant only for my family. Please respect my wishes and delete the e-mail and if there are any blogs you have my e-mail portrayed on I would ask if you would take it down too.”Ouch!
When contacted, Tiffany Porter who identified herself as his wife, said: “There were discrepancies in the e-mail, but I am not at liberty to say more.”
