PostHeaderIcon Just Desserts: Crustless Custard Pie

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • dash nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350°F.

Lightly grease a 9" pie pan.

Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy.  Add flour, milk and vanilla.  Pour into pie pan.  Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Bake for about 1 hour, until firm.  (Flour will settle to make the crust.)  Cool on a wire rack.

Top with whipped cream and seasonal berries to serve.

Note:  You can use gluten-free flour for this recipe, but up the vanilla and sugar slightly.
