PostHeaderIcon Ensalate: Spicy Orange Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Combine all ingredients except oil in medium sized bowl. Slowly, while whisking briskly, add oil and combine well.

Variations -- Use the juice from a blood orange change-up on the color and a darker flavor.

Serving suggestions:

  • Fresh spinach
  • Arugula
  • Spring mix

Can be used as a marinade & glaze for baked orange chicken.
