Views of Houston: Tranquility Park

Edit Post
This is one of the smaller parks in Downtown, located next to City Hall.
It was dedicated to the 1969 moon landing at Tranquility Bay.
Ringed with shade trees, it has several walkways that take you to the central water feature -- large cylindrical water columns and overlapping reflecting pools.
At the center and near the Smith street entry-ways are stairwells that take you into the Theatre District underground as this park (like Discovery Green on the other end of Downtown) sits on top of a one of the district's parking garages.
